AnMon problems... help, please!

I have tried to find the right specifications for the winboard.ini to run AnMon, but without any success. I have tried several options, among them Frank's ones:
\"AnMon_506 xboard\" /fd=c:\\Programme\\Winboard\\AnMon
\"AnMon_506 xboard\" /sd=c:\\Programme\\Winboard\\AnMon
I write the command AnMon506 in the Winboard programme. At the begining it seems to run, but very quickly the message appears:
"The program exits unexpectedly". After a couple of hours finding the answer I start to feel desperate and have decided to post this message. Thanks in advance!.

There's two ways of doing it:
1: Add Franks lines and make sure that the path is correct. Then
select it from the dialogue box when you start Winboard.
2: Start winboard and type AnMon_506 xboard C:\Path .
Mail again if the problem persist.
Best wishes...

Also, try turning pondering off in Winboard, see pulldown menu Option/general/ponder next move because that might still be a problem with Anmon.

Dear Mogens and Pete,
Thank you very much for your suggestions. I have finally discovered that the problem is not winboard related, but due to a bug in the AnMon506 program I have downloaded. When I try to run it without graphics, i.e. outside Wb environment, the program also exits unexpectedly. I will to download it again, because I don't resign to miss this excellent program.
Regards,
Tom.

It might not be a bug in AnMon 5.06. AnMon cannot be run in textmode. It needs the winboardinterface.
Best wishes...
