I also saw on CCC that there's a new SOS version 2000 floating around with "respected" testers, I wonder when it's available for less professional interested people like us...

Really, I don't know about a new SOS Version. I am only interested in testing new Winboard Engines, such as Crux (Excellent Engine) or Zephyr (in testing process), or new Versions of my favorite Winboard Engines: Lgoliath, Zchess, and now Amy (terrific Engine!).

About, If I am a "respected" tester, I don't know if I am. I try only to test these little great programming wonders in my testing conditions. I am a very ranked player and I enjoy a lot playing against these "amateur" chess programs programs.

The Authors of the Winboard Engines, that I am testing, can say with a good criterion if I am or not "respected tester".

I suppose on June 2000, when the Author debugs the whole reported Bugs.
Best Regards, A8A.
