Here's a few results obtained on my PII-266Mhz/64Mb computer with 16Mb hash as always.
Amy 0.7 - ColChess 6.2: 4-0 (40/10').
ColChess 6.2 - Averno 0.28: 1-3 (40/10').
ColChess 6.2 - Averno 0.28: 2½-5½ (40/5').
ColChess 6.2 - Sjeng VII: 1-7 (40/5').
So I'm not sure that the new ColChess is stronger than the old one as I stated in CCC. I could be that the searching and evaluation approach of ColChess might benefit more from faster hardware than other programs and that my machine is therefore too slow. But I think that's a question for Colin to answer.

Hmmm... not particularly encouraging.
Sounds plausible. Whenever I play ColChess vs. Sjeng, the score tends to be roughly 40%:60% in 5 minute blitz on a P3-450. I don't actually have Averno so I can't say anything about that. Amy often gets 4-0 so that's not at all unusual.
Did you keep the games?

Hopefully, I'll have a Athlon operational by the end of the month, so I'll check if there's any such corrolation.
