I can't get winboard to run engines from a folder with spaces in the folder name. Here is my entry in winboard.ini.
\"Crafty_1710\" /sd=g:\\Chess Base\\Engines\\Crafty1710
I've tried different ways to enter this in my ini file but i always get this error message - -
Can't open "Base\\Engines\\Crafty1710"
The system cannot find the file specified.
I can't change the folder name since the programs are registered. Is there a way to run these engines in Winboard without copying all the files. Thanks for your help.

Try adding \" on each side of the path, like this:
\"Crafty_1710\" /sd=\"g:\\Chess Base\\Engines\\Crafty1710\"
Best wishes...
