Hi,
an opening problem !
When I play with /mg 10 I have 5 double games :-(

I play the games not with the /mg x order.
I start 2 engines, give the first move (1.Nf3 or other) and then in the WinBoard menue ... Mode / Two Maschines !
At the moment 6.5 : 0.5 for Amy (Amy play a fantastic chess) !
In the evening the results after round 7 of 9 (350 / 450 games)
AMD K6-3, 450 MHz, 32 MB for Hash, WinBoard 4.0.5, 40 moves in 40 minutes, ponder = off, 4-pieces Nalimov tablebases !

That is strange. I thought that Ant had a learn file. Amy will repeat the same moves if it encounters the same moves from the opponent. When the match is finished I'll take a look at the pgn to see if it can be changed.

That is strange. I thought that Ant had a learn file. Amy will repeat the same moves if it encounters the same moves from the opponent. When the match is finished I'll take a look at the pgn to see if it can be changed.

I tried checking the probabilities of the Amy book after 1.e4 in WinBoard and this is the result:

So 1... e5 should be the choice sometimes. It might be due to the win percentage of the sicilian, so I don't know what to do

How many moves are the same? If Ant has a learn file there has to be a difference somewhere.

I hope you didn't play without the Amy's learn file, learn.db, because it's not a "real" learn file. It's more like bookmove selector like books.bin for Crafty. The file isn't modified automatically from game to game. I think you know this, but I just want to make sure.
I don't think I would have deleted them, but then again I don't delete the learn files either.
That's good. A little better than I expected.
BTW, did you notice anything strange about Averno 0.29? It moves very fast, even though there's more time.

That`s right !
I have from my tournament the debug files from all 350 games in my backup directory. I think I write Carlos a little eMail !
At the moment:
Ant 4.16 - Averno 6.5 : 1.5 !
I think double games, I check this later !
