A small change to Tournament ML-10.

I've decided to replace Bionic with Green Light Chess 2.08a, because I thought it would be more interesting with a newer program. Its first match is against LG2000 tonight.

Bringer1.7 looks quite strong.Good results,In both your tournament and The Battle of the Crowns tournament..
I think it deserves to be looked into..

It will be interesting Unfortunately, I also think it may be depressing!
I don't think that GL is get up to the strength of the "big guns" as you say.

You never know..Besides you should be honoured that GL was selected to replace Bionic which is very strong..(Crafty clone..) ..Shows Mogens has faith in your program..

However, I'm currently having problems with GLC..For some reason it doesn't seem to be using a opening book..And i have one "opening.book" in the directory..
What am I doing wrong?

I'm not sure. I assume you created the book yourself using GlcBook.exe? How big is the opening.book file? If you are using version 2.08a of GL you could try "Help/Book..." from winboard and see what it says. It will tell you here how many nodes are in the book, and the version. This option also toggles book usage on/off.

No..I seem to already have a opening book . I didn't create one myself..

I tried to make a book..Using your book maker. I must say, the book maker has some nice options..Including the ability to add certain lines/files to only the white side or black side..
It takes quite long to make a book though..The 2600.pgn file i used took quite long to make..Using the default 15 ply..
