AnMon needs winboard as interface. It can't be executed on its own.

Hello,
In order to play AnMon you have to copy all its files into your Winboard directory. Then you start Winboard and type in (under quotation marks!) "AnMon506 xboard" in the command line offered by Winboard (play against computer). AnMon will surely start then. ("Xboard" tells AnMon to get ready to play under Winboard.)
This oversimple configuration is not the most elegant one, but is certainly works. Have fun.
