bringer question !!!

hi guys,
i have problems setting up bringer for winboard if any can pls help
with the commands (pete,donn??). my bringer is located in C:/Program
Files/WinBoard/Bringer/Bringer.exe. now what should be the winboard command so
that i can run it against other programs too. i had no problems to set it up for
chess servers but setting it up for winboard seems to be a problem. For other
program (like crafty, comet, francesca) i just type the program names every time
i start winboard like under "first chess program" i just type crafty.
and it seems to work with that, but not with bringer.
any help ?

He probably means in CCC where you can put [D] in front of an epd and it shows the position on a Chess board, I have no idea how Tim made that so that it would work, or it would be posible _here_ or not. This is an example of what makes the position board there (I hope this shows up)

Unfortunately no. It must be a kind of script running on the CCC's server itself. I don't have any direct access to Parsimony's server, so I think there is only a very little chance to establish such a script here.

Ok, here's something I never tried, some people put images on your forum (it always surprises me when they show up) So it is allot more work to get a position in the Winboard Forum that way, but if you have a web page, you can upload an image to that and call it out in the "URL eines Bildes / Image URL (optional):" area below. Let's see if I can make this work, this is from a game I lost as White to my cousin Dave Rockwell (game from 1997-1999).

It appears that xoom has found a way to block people from using images that are on their server. I don't know how they did that. Oh well.

Ok, your image was http://home1.stofanet.dk/Moq/Hockey24.gif which is essentially what I did, only with a jpg image instead of a gif. I think my web page being on xoom is the problem.
I could apply for a different free web page through someone else just to get them to host Chess board images, with any luck they wouldn't have the same problem as xoom.
