Sometime the problem occurs that someone wants to post a formated text as tables, chessboards or something else here. The problem is this: the input is interpreted as html-input. So e.g. any unnecessary (=double) spaces are ignored. So please, if you want to post formated text here, please use the html pre-tag. It looks like this:

text text more text

< /pre >
(without spaces !).
Everything between these tags will _not_ changed and will look identically as you post it here. Example:
_With_ tags
BlaBlaBla-tournament

Foo 1.0 3 - 13 - 5 Elo 2456

_Without_ tags

I think the first table looks much better. Please note: if you use the tags (without spaces) they are invisible but will be interpreted.

It does look better that way, with the tags, it's easier to look at because things stay inline. It would be nice if there was a way to get it to display without the extra space between the lines of text.
I have an HTML for Dummies book that I never look at, I didn't find a way around that space between lines in there, it only mentions < pre > a couple times.
