Hello to all!
I have problems with .amyrc. Ive edited a file named Amy7.amyrc and wrote:
hash=32m
tbpath=d:\TB_NEU
autosave=false
The exe file was renamed Amy7.exe, but Amy dont read the commands.
I saw Thorstein in the readme wrote in tbpath "space/tb", is this the way?
Anybody can help me?
Regards
Carlos Pesce
PD: Thanks to Djordie and Stefan for your latest help

The file Amy7.amyrc must be renamed to .amyrc to work. If this doesn't help try mailing again.
Best wishes...

You'll need to do it from the Dos prompt. Open the Dos prompt, change directories to the one you're in, for example: cd\amychess then rename the file like this: ren amy.txt .amyrc (assuming that the file that you're renaming is called "amy.txt" that is)
Now to leave the Dos prompt, use the command EXIT and you'll return to Windows.

Thanks for your post Pete! I finally got it working! My Dos knowledge is
worse than you can imagine... And Amy even seems to find my tb:s in
C:\Nalimov. No need for directory C:\Amy\tb anymore?!
Thanks

You're welcome, that information about needing to rename it in the Dos Box is from Mogens. That's correct, the tablebases no longer need to be in Amy's subdirectory.
