It would be nice if you could put just the binary on your site too ; I can download the book from Hyatt's site faster but would love to have your crafty.exe.

It would be nice if you could put just the binary on your site too ; I can download the book from Hyatt's site faster but would love to have your crafty.exe.

I think probably that is not really what you want. The new book format is different and there are no instructions for how to build it to incorporate the C.A.P. data. The zip I provide has the new book pre-built. That is the bulk of the extra size. To download the data to make the book is a gigabyte for the raw PGN and 150 megabytes for the EPD so I think you are well ahead to download my 7 meg zip.
If (understanding this) you still want a binary alone I will provide one.

That's correct, as mentioned in this thread Dann has it compiled, Bob'll probably have it soon. I just downloaded the book.bin from Robert's site this afternoon, approx 12mb, I though it would take all day!
You might want to check and see what kind of file extentions the bin files downloaded as, because for me they wanted to download as exe files (and they're not exe files) so you may need to rename them as *.bin files.
