Hi Dann,
I have the same problem. As soon as the opening book is exited, Phalanxf just shuts down.

Same here, I tried to run it in a match and I came back this morning and nothing had happened, unfortunately I was not running debug (sorry). But there was a bunch of error measages that pointed their finger at Phalanx, one of them complained about I think "Pipe broken" (I could be wrong about that it was early in the morning for me)

HELLO!:
THE PLANLANXF SENT ME THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE:
"Error! Polling not implemented in the hacked version."
I didn't understand this message and the program aborted.

Hi again. With the addition of the -o- parameter, the program seems to work fine now on my system. (Win. 98 and pentium ll) But I think you should know that in Console mode, it still has the same problem. As soon as the program leaves it's opening book, it shuts itself off. This is not a big deal, since most of us use Winboard anyway. I just thought you should be aware of this.
Regards.
