Hi!
The current book is in fbk format, but Gromit estructure is the same to TCB (chesslib, readpgn, etc.). Ive builted my own book for TCB (in pgn format, is the same book estructure of Fritz book but in pgn) and ive tried to run this in gromit3, first ive modified Gromit.cui (ive changed fbkbook to pgnbook, next change book name "cpbook.pgn") but...gromit dont work.
How can i transform TCB book from pgn to fbk? or edit a book in fbk format with "my" opening repertorie?
Thanks for advance

Hi Carlos,
you can use PGN and FBK Books in the same way as with TCB. Gromit has the same commands for reading these books. If you have problems with large FBK books, try to check the FBK book for invalid lines/moves. 2 month ago I have tested a big FBK book and I recognized that gromit uses the book only with white. The reason was a invalid line/move in the book. If the book is converted from FBK to internal format, converting will stop after an error and you don´t get an error messsage. So always be sure to have a correct book.
