Dann the Mann READ THIS

Dann,
I posted this yesterday and you may have seen it and been too busy to reply, but I am posting it again just in case it eluded you. Have you seen this before? Is there a way around it? Has anyone else experienced this? See below for what "this" is.
It seems when I try to run Exchess 3.14 that you recompiled, instead of using the search.par file for its settings, and the openbk.dat specified in that settings file, it creates 2 new files called Esearch.par, and Eopenbk.dat. You can see the problem that would cause, so I took my existing search.par and openbk.dat and renamed them to Esearch.par, and Eopenbk.dat, however, when I started Exchess again, it created new files called Eesearch.par and Eeopenbk.dat. Is this something I am doing wrong? Let me know what you think.
Thanks,
Morby

Volume in drive E has no label.

Dann isn't the Mann -- I am the Mann. :)
