I'm not quite sure what you're searching for. Do you want to use WinBoard as a GUI for your own program, or do you just want to install engines in WinBoard. If it's the latter, you could try my WinBoard setup page. Try saving it in textformat and see what happens.
Best wishes...

What i'm looking for is a one doccument that details almost everything there is to know about installing winboard engines, such that even a pure beginner would be able to set it up.
Hence such a doccument would have to explain terms like ponder off, book learning, what is a table base, analysis mode etc etc..
It should also have information links about related matters like chessbase gui, chess assistants, etc..
Probably only need a section answering the question, what is winboardplus? (Including the analysis bug?)

Your website is a good start..but..you could add more detail
For example
Regarding tablebases, you could also explain the dangers of downloading only some of the 5 piece tablebases..Eg for some engines if you only have KRPkr, and no KRQkr, the engine will refuse to queen..
Regarding installing winboard engines
It would be nice if you could list out the chessengines that have special comand line functions..
Eg those that require the command -xboard
or those that have problems with -reuse, or rquire reuse..
and finally those that require CYGWin1.dll

thanks
Aaron
