Crafty fought back and it's now 6-4
Anyone notice how the new crafty 177 opening books (bookc) cause crafty to play the Bird's opening as White? Interesting choice..Seems that crafty plays well in this type of positional /quiet games, and opponent leaves books early also..

AnMon 5.06 - Litthe Goliath V2 = 3,5 : 8,5 (40 moves in 20 minutes; ponder=on Dualboard; 2 x 563MHz Celeron)

I am testing AnMon 5.03 against LG2000v2 but on level "Rapid 60 min". So I need some more time to give first results.

Why is everyone testing against LG2000V2? Isn;t crafty usually used as a standard for comparison?

Why is LG2000v2 more fun? Is it playing style more interesting?
Personally I like watching Crafty play off-beat opening like bird's openings and even Lavitan Gambit as Black...Leads to interesting dynamic unbalanced positions..
Anyway my 5 min Blitz match between Crafty177 and Anmon505 is now at 19.5-14.5. IS the result significant? Or should I test more? to 48 games?
Next up crafty vers Lgol2000-2..
