Hello,
With ponder = ON, Phalanx cannot play correctly (time too longer by move)
With ponder = OFF, all is O.K.

For me it was the same with Corbits version of Phalanx21. So I threw it
in favour of Dusan's. Mailed Dann about it long ago...

It works OK for me. I have compiled Win32 binaries with Cygwin B20.1,
it is on http://www.crosswinds.net/~dobes/phalanx/winphx22.zip
Please check the appropriate part of your winboard.ini. Mine looks
like this:
/firstChessProgramNames="GNUChess
\"GNUChes5 xboard\"
\"c:\\v\\Phalanx-XXII\\phalanx\" /fd=c:\\v\\Phalanx-XXII
"

Of course no Nalimov tablebases as it is not implemented in Phalanx.

Thank you, Dusan, without the parameter "-o-" in the WinBoard.ini, all is O.K.with pondering...
Your program Phalanx 22 is strong, and his style is very very interesting.
The "anti-computers" methods don't works with Phalanx !
