Crafty and Winboard

I'm new here, so bear with me. I have just downloaded Wcrafty-17.6.exe to my c:\Program files\crafty directory. I also downloaded Winboard to C\Program Files\Winboard. Then I change firstChessProgramNames in Winboard.ini to read ="Crafty /fd=C:\\wcrafty-17.6.exe. Winboard starts up and when I select wcrafty-17.6.exe from engines I get an error message: "Start up failure on "Crafty". The system can not find the file specified." Has any one have any ideas?

Please donwnload the config.zip file and check the Crafty configuration.
Config.zip file !

Important is the crafty.rc (configuration file) and the WinBoard.ini !

The path should be more like: \"wcrafty-17_6.exe\" fd="c:\\Program Files\\Crafty. That is, name of executable followed by path and don't use dots like 17.6.

I tried that, the following fatal error message comes up: "Unrecognized argument files\\crafty"

Well, try to see if this helps:
/firstChessProgramNames="Comet_B15 /fd=c:\\Engines\\Comet
\"Crafty_1708c\" /fd=\"c:\\Program Files\\Crafty\"
.
.

These are the two first lines of the engine configuration of winboard.ini. "Crafty_1708c" is the name of the executable without .exe. If this doesn't help download the config-file from Franks page.
