Actually, it works just fine. Hundreds of people are using it. You just have to turn off pondering.
True, I had to add Win98 upgrade because of my larger harddrive, so I just checked, AnMon is working great, it has no problems with Win98.
Possible problem? You need to have "xboard" in the command line parameter, here's what I have in the first program area:
\"AnMon xboard\" /fd=d:\\anmon
Note that I _did_ rename AnMon, and it's now the first Chess program on my D drive, so you probably could not copy exactly what I have there and use it.
As allways, see how Frank did it. I have not tried ColChess in a while, I don't know much about that program.
