I've already contacted him and there isn't a new WinBoard version in the horizon, because a disk crash "zapped" his Winboard work.

I thought there was a 3/2000? All I have is 11/99, is the 3/2000 version available for download somewhere?

No, I don't think so. The 3/2000 version might be the native engine for Fritz offered by Chessbase on the amateur engines CD. It's all the info I have.

Nice to tournament. I was thinking of trying the same engines but with slower time controls. IMHO you tested all the top engines here, except Francesca might not belong..Though it's too close to tell..
