That's not exactly the same thing and I think you know that. A ludicrous statement is a ludicrous statement no matter what. My opinions are based on experience, not divine intervention or fortune cookies. However, there's a difference between evidence and experience, which is why I used varieties of IMO regarding the strength of certain programs. "IMO" only works with some degree of reasoning.Interesting so you feel that using IMHO or "my belief is ..." from the start, is acceptable?
What if someone said from the outset that "IMHO Crafty is weaker than 1600?"
Does the "IMHO shield" work now? Sounds a little fishy to me..
This is getting a little tedious..You are as helpful as anyone..But like anyone else you don't like to lose a argument..
"IMHO Crafty is weaker than 1600" could be a valid statement, if the person who states it have an old version or outdated hardware. All in all reasoning is the key. There's nothing fishy about it at all.
I don't think I'm losing anything but patience. You want to use me to rectify the validity of your opinions or your selfesteem, I'm not quite sure. Fair enough, but you're not being very succesful. I've explained how I interpret the use of personal opinion, so I won't waste more of my time explaining it again. EOD on my part.
Best wishes...
