The release 0.0.2 seems almost good, but it loose again for times, in some situations. The program is loosing ELO points for that reason on the lyapko continous match. I was working on the 0.0.3, trying to make an original implementation of killer-moves, but the program get very funny to play now... because it give away pieces any 4 or 5 moves ;-) I can correct this bug but i have decided to stop developing of this version.
I'm started to develope a new engine, starting from scratch, because the old one is derived from the Dos version. Since i have converted the program to 32bit i think to have added almost 2^32 new serious bugs ;-))))
The new engine should be faster than the old one. Tehorically about ten time faster... but pratically i still don't know. It depends of the goodness of my own alfagemma :-) algorithm. I develope all by night, so i think to have finished before christmas. Ten times faster means about one million nodes per second... maybe it is just a dream ;-))))))
So i stop Raffaela developing just to give you a new Raffaela.
Ciao!!!!

Do you plan to give the new version it's own interface too?

I'll change only the engine but i will take the actual interface. The two things are separated: the interface is written with C++Builder while the engine is in pure assembly language.
Ciao!!!
